1.) I, (the undersigned), attest that I have read the event rules, regulations and restrictions for McDowell 2007, and agree to abide by them.  I understand that any violation of these rules, regulations and restrictions may result in my being asked to leave the event, without any recourse or recovery of registration fees or other expenses (travel funds, et cetera).

2.) I agree to hold the Highland Historical Society, the Fifth Battalion, the Highland County Chamber of Commerce, and any landowners free of any indemnity, culpability or responsibility in the event of any injury or accident to myself or those under my guardianship.

3.) I agree that my image can be used by the event sponsors for promotional materials, advertisements, or other media, without any recourse or reimbursement.

4.) I understand that all funds (beyond event expenses), either registration or donation, will be used to further the preservation of lands and structures within the environs of the Town of McDowell and the McDowell Battlefield, and to support selected local civic and/or benevolent organizations in Highland County, Virginia.  A statement of fund disbursement will be available to participants upon written request after the event.

5.) I understand that the reenactor effort at McDowell requires individuals who are willing to support each other. I understand that my actions may affect the reenacting experience of others and will respect their desire for a fulfilling experience.
